Defeats for Schembri, Muscat in Cyprus and Portugal

CYPRUS

Andre Schembri played part in Apollon Limassol's latest two straight defeats. In the weekend, Schembri entered the fray in the second half as his team lost to AEK Larnaca in the championship.

Apollon are currently second on 53 points, two behind leaders APOEL.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the former Malta player was on the field for 85 minutes as Apollon lost the first leg of the semi-final of the domestic cup 2-1. 

PORTUGAL

Malta defender Zach Muscat returned in action for SC Olhanense following his duties with the national as he played part in the 2-0 defeat against SC Ideal. 

Olhanense are sixth in Group D of the Portuguese Division Three on 48 points.

ITALY

Romario Camilleri featured for Como Juniores as they drew 1-1 in the U-19 league game against Pro Sesto. 

ENGLAND

Sam Magri was in action for Ebbsfleet United as they overcame Wrexham 4-2 in the National League.

The Fleet are ninth on 65 points, two behind the final play-off spot.

Braintree Town's Oscar Borg entered the match against Gateshead as a substitute at the start of the second half, winning 2-0. 

They have reached the 31-point tally mark, however, they have been mathematically condemned to the below tier. 

Jordan Williams played the whole game for Thatcham Town as they registered a 1-1-1 draw at Cinderford Town in the Southern League Divison One South.

Previously, he played 90 minutes in their stalemate at Moneyfields during the weekend. 

Thatcham remain 12th on 47 points. 

IRELAND

Finn Harps' Jacob Borg was introduced into their match against Waterford in the Irish Premier League after 37 minutes.

Finn Harps remain anchored to the bottom of the Irish Premier Division with just two points from nine matches to show.

Meanwhile, the Finns had something to cheer about after eliminating Sligo Rovers in the Irish Cup with Borg captaining the squad as well - was replaced in the second half. 

Youngster Dany Testa scored a hat-trick for Greystones United U-18's in their league win over Palmerstown FC.

SERBIA

Youngsters Neil Frendo and Zak Grech took part in OFK Beograd's U-19's league game against FK Bask, with the latter winning 2-1.

DENMARK

Godwin McKay entered the fray in the 68th minute for B.93 Copenhagen in their big win against bottom placed Marienlyst.

B.93 are now seventh in Group 2 of the Danish third tier league, on 29 points.

SCOTLAND

Another win and clean sheet for goalkeeper Beppe Mangion as Partick Thistle defeated Inverness CT in the U-16's league.

AUSTRALIA 

Mitchell Mallia was involved in Marconi Stallions' 1-2 defeat at the hands of Manly United in the New South Wales NPL championship, as they remain in the lower part of the standings on three points after four outings. 

NEW ZEALAND

Joseph Ellul has signed for Miramar Rangers of the New Zealand Central Region Premier Division.
