Assistant Accountant

Our client, a leading provider of Saas Technology, Consulting and Business Process Outsourcing, is looking for an Assistant Accountant.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts preparation: as data input on accounting software, bank reconciliation, statutory return filing (E.g VAT)
  • Preparation of printed cheques, release and follow ups
  • Reconciliation of monthly suppliers’ & Debtors accounts
  • Keep Fixed Asset Register up to date and perform necessary verifications to ensure existence as per general audit standards
  • Assist the Manager/Accountant with month end closures
  • Assist the Manager/Accountant with any other accounting duties

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Degree holder or minimum ACCA Level 2
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting
  • Good knowledge of Quickbook or any other Accounting Software
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
