Senior Financial Analyst ( Insurance & Pensions )

A  well established client is seeking to employ a Senior Financial Analyst - Insurance and Pensions.

Duties include:

  • Analytical exercises of the accounts to monitor the level of compliance with the existing regulatory standards
  • Act as a reference to other team members
  • On-site compliance visits
  • Ad-hoc assignments related to specific regulatory and supervisory issues

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification or comparable accountancy qualification ( NQF level 6 )
  • Minimum 5- 8 years of previous experience in the field of pensions and/or insurance
  • Thorough knowledge of the regulatory requirement applicable to the pensions or insurance
  • Ability to meet set deadlines
  • Advanced communication skills and leadership ability
